Mike Nash was born and lives in England. He has been working professionally as an Illustrator for just four years and runs all aspects of the business himself. Mike is well educated in Art & Design and is a qualified BA in Illustration. Despite being new to the industry, Mike has already worked on projects by high-profile names and proven himself capable and dependable. He supplies art to clients throughout the world for use in books, films and games; recently being lucky enough to work with Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars as well as create trading card art for Call of Cthulhu (H.P.Lovecraft) and A Game of Thrones (George.R.R.Martin). That said, Mike still enjoys producing book covers and interior illustrations for fledgling authors, assisting them forge the beginnings of their own creative careers and delighting in their enthusiasm. Mike has a passion for detail and enjoys capturing atmospheric lighting. Despite his interest in myths and fictitious subjects he tries to harness a sense of realism and history within his designs; expressed in a traditional, painterly flavour despite working digitally. As a result his work balances on the divide between plausibility and fantasy. Mike’s approach is friendly and down-to-earth yet professional and dedicated. He listens and discusses ideas thoroughly with clients, enabling him to produce high-quality artwork tailored specifically to their needs.
